My parents live in New Jersey now and my sister Keri will be moving to Virginia where she has received a job with an accounting firm. I am studying Hospitality Management at Widener and continue to play volleyball at the collegiate level. I have spent my summer with a trip to France (French is my minor at Widener) and I live in the city of Philadelphia this summer working at the University of Pennsylvania in their Conference Services department. We have just purchased a house and will move in at the end of May and will be living in Lansdale, outside of Philadelphia. The wedding is August 23, 2003 and we are very excited. I got a job as a staff accountant in Virginia Beach Virginia at a regional CPA firm. I also just took the CPA exam in May. I get my scores tomorrow, say a prayer!!!! I am studying Entertainment, Sports and Promotion Business Management. My minor is International Business. I really hope to enroll at the Illinois Art Institute and study filmmaking, with hopes of becoming a movie director. I work as a Manager for Goodrich Quality Theaters, which owns the Saginaw 8/ The Quad Theater. Lately I have been traveling to other theaters in the company and working closely with our Area Manager and working as many as 50-60 hours per week. I recently decided to start going to Peace again, I really miss the old place. I had a lot of good memories there and I hope to have many more in the future. |

Charleston, SC | How exciting to see the Peace alumnae page and read the fun entries. I went to Peace Preschool through 8th grade and have many happy memories from those years. I graduated from VLHS in 1990 and then graduated from CMU in 1994. I married Graham Hamilton in 2000 (at Peace) and we live in Charleston, SC. I am the director of Sales for a hotel here and my husband is the asst. manager of a heavy equipment company. I still keep in touch with 7 of my dearest friends that I met while at Peace and those ties have been the strongest of all my friendships I have made throughout the years. I would love to catch up with other Peace attendees and teachers. I miss the great teachers from Peace including Mr. Christiansen- hope you and your wife are doing well if you read this! Matt and I have moved to Minnesota and greatly miss Peace Lutheran Church and hope that someday when we decide to have a family we will be able to find a school that compares to Peace. Memories of Peace include friendships, Christmas programs, Friday night basketball games, our 8th grade Toronto trip, and the good teachers as well as our favorite secretary - Carol Andrews (Matt's mom). |

Fun Fact: I still keep in close touch with 6 friends whom I went to Peace with - the 7 of us formed a precious friendship as children that has lasted throughout the years. Not one of us lives in the same city as another (many in different states), yet we still get together at least once a year and it seems like nothing has changed. 4 of us first met in Pre-School at Peace! There are many of my classmates I would love to catch up with! I loved all my moments at Peace. I am still the best of friends with many of my fellow classmates! An example of the close ties that Peace builds is the way Mr. Fechner always would come to our weddings (many of us, unfortunately not I, returned to Peace to marry in our home church!) when they were at Peace and give us that Mr. Fechner smile and recall a little memory about each of us. I remember our entire class cried our eyes out on 8th grade graduation day. We loved each other so much! We grew up together! |

We also have a few Ostriches at our place "just for the fun of it", as my husband puts it. Some favorite memories of Peace would be: the special movies we'd see around the holidays in the gymnasium, the operettas, watching the boys basketball games and going out to Tony's restaurants for huge hot fudge sundaes afterwards! |
